Image Selection
*
In this section, you will choose the images that you would like in your album. We use a couple of different printers that require different formats, therefore the album design process slightly varies with the type of album that you are ordering. At any point in the process, feel free to call the studio for help or instructions.
First off, it is best to decide what level of involvement you would like in the album design process.
Low Involvement:
If you’re really busy and/or you would like to trust our artistic judgment, you can leave all of the image selections up to us. If you would like to do so, you may skip the rest of the instructions and simply state, within this field, "I would like to leave the image selections to our judgement," or something to that effect.
Medium Involvement:
If you would like to select some, but not all of the images, follow the instructions below but only select around 30-40 images. This lets us know which images you absolutely must have in your album, but gives us the freedom to put in our favorite images and/or images that tell specific parts of the story.
High Involvement:
Choose 60-80 images and we will use the exact images you choose to design your album.
Image Selection Instructions
1. Look through the images on your image DVD
2. Use the images on the DVD to select the images you want in your album.
3. Fill out this field and include the full file names of the images you would like in your album.
4. Please include one image per line; and feel free to include a description or notes next to each image.
5. For example, your list might look something like this:
image_name_001.jpg – cover image
image_name_002.jpg – large image
image_name_003.jpg
image_name_010.jpg – sequence with 11 and 12
image_name_011.jpg
image_name_012.jpg
image_name_055.jpg – full spread
