From intimate elopements on the cliffs of Big Sur to elaborate multi-day celebrations that weave together family traditions from around the world, we've learned that great wedding photography isn't just about pretty pictures.

Indian & South Asian Weddings: From Mehendi to Reception
Indian weddings are renowned for their vibrant colors, elaborate ceremonies, and multi-day celebrations. We've photographed hundreds of South Asian weddings across Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, and inter-faith traditions.
From the intricate henna artistry of Mehendi ceremonies and high-energy Sangeet performances to the sacred Baraat arrival, Jai Mala exchange, Pheras around the fire, and emotional Vidaai, we capture each ritual with cultural sensitivity and technical precision.
Reception celebrations often rival the ceremony in scale, featuring multiple outfit changes, grand entrances, and hours of celebration that we document while maintaining quality and attention to detail throughout.
Persian & Middle Eastern Weddings
Persian weddings feature the breathtakingly beautiful Sofreh Aghd ceremony, where couples sit before an elaborate spread of symbolic items representing blessings for their marriage.
We photograph the mirror ceremony where the couple sees each other for the first time as husband and wife, the honey exchange representing sweetness in marriage, and the sugar rubbing tradition where family members hold fabric over the couple's heads.
These ceremonies often blend ancient Persian traditions with Islamic customs, and we work respectfully within both frameworks to create photography that honors the cultural significance while creating stunning visual narratives.
Jewish Weddings: Tradition Meets Celebration
Jewish weddings carry deep religious significance alongside joyful celebration, and we've photographed Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, and secular ceremonies, understanding that customs vary significantly between movements.
From the intimate Ketubah signing and the Bedeken (veiling ceremony) to the ceremony under the Chuppah, the breaking of the glass, the emotional Yichud, and the energetic Hora dance at the reception — each element tells part of your story.
We work respectfully within religious restrictions when they apply, such as limitations on photography during Sabbath weddings for Orthodox couples, while still capturing beautiful, comprehensive coverage of your celebration.

Chinese and Korean weddings often incorporate traditional ceremonies alongside Western elements, creating beautiful fusion celebrations.
Tea ceremonies carry profound respect and meaning — serving tea to elders and receiving their blessings deserves careful, respectful documentation. Korean Pyebaek ceremonies involve ritual bows, symbolic foods, and family blessings, while Chinese weddings might include door games, multiple outfit changes, and banquet-style receptions with numerous courses and toasts.
We've photographed everything from intimate traditional ceremonies to elaborate celebrations for hundreds of guests, understanding the significance of each ritual and knowing when to be present versus when to step back.
