Beautiful Greystone Mansion, located in glamorous Beverly Hills, is an iconic piece of Los Angeles history. Built in 1928 by architect Gordon Kaufman, the mansion belonged to the oil tycoon Doheny family. At the time of construction, the Greystone Mansion was worth four million dollars, the most expensive home in all of California. The city of Beverly Hills purchased the mansion in 1965, and from then on the 46,000 square-foot home on 16 acres of land became a public park, a site for renowned events like the Annual Hollywood Ball, and a filming location for various blockbuster movies. And it will be the perfect spot for your Beverly Hills wedding.
Among the 55 rooms of the Tudor-style mansion are spaces dedicated for the bride and groom’s wedding preparation, together with their wedding parties. From wedding prep in the morning until the last dance, your photography team will capture all of your memories and tell the story of your monumental day. We at Lin and Jirsa would be honored to photograph all of those moments, big and small. Click here for the 15 questions you should ask when choosing a photographer.

The Cypress Walk on the manicured grounds of the Greystone Mansion are a lovely spot for sunset photos of the groomsmen, the wedding party, or a couples session.
Most couples who choose to host their wedding ceremony at the Greystone Mansion do so in the Formal Garden, a traditional English garden. In Beverly Hills, you can take advantage of the year-round pleasant weather and hold both ceremony and reception out of doors.
Or you can choose an alternate location for your ceremony. The couple pictured below chose to be married at the Shepherd Catholic Church in Los Angeles and celebrate their reception on the grounds of the mansion.

The grand staircase with its ornately carved triple arch is one of the most unforgettable spots inside the Greystone Mansion. It’s the location of many film and television scenes, and it’s a lovely, meaningful space for wedding photography.
The Mansion Courtyard (pictured below) allows for an elegant sit-down reception, with the old-world luxury of the mansion walls bordering the patio. 225 guests can be seated here. Couples may also choose to host their outdoor reception at the Pool, Terrace, or Reflection Pond.
In the daylight or after dark, the mansion’s Terrace affords unrivaled views of both downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. What a magical end to an unforgettable day!
In addition to events, the gorgeous grounds are often used for engagement photos.
An outdoor wedding ceremony and reception has space for up to 225 guests. If you are planning a more intimate gathering, the Grand Ballroom indoors can seat up to 60 guests for a reception. Or you can rent an entire floor of the mansion, and up to 300 guests can move from room to room throughout the evening.
A: The proprietors of the mansion ask that Jackson Catering, SRC Event Group, or Wolfgang Puck Catering provide the food for your event.
A: The Greystone Mansion allows couples to rent the space by the hour so that you can choose the time frame that works for you. Outdoor events can run from 10 AM to 8 PM, and indoor events can take place between 10 AM and 10 PM.
